Patients and consumers who go to PTPN therapists can be assured that their practitioners are highly qualified, subjected to stringent credentialing and membership standards, and their performance is monitored to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of services provided.
- PTPN safeguards patients’ interests by enrolling only therapist-owned clinics, thus avoiding possible conflicts of interest with referral sources. Offices owned by physicians or by other health care organizations are not accepted. PTPN members have their name on the door. It is their reputation and their livelihood that is on the line when they deliver services.
- PTPN is the only network with a quality assurance program to make sure that treatment matches the needs of the patient.
- PTPN providers are experienced. The majority of PTPN members nationwide have been with PTPN for 6 -10 years or more.

- PTPN members must meet credentialing requirements that exceed those of other networks and state licensing requirements. PTPN credentialing standards surpass those that accrediting bodies such as NCQA (National Committee
for Quality Assurance) require for physicians in managed care plans.
- In patient satisfaction surveys PTPN has conducted in California, more than 90% of respondents were: satisfied overall with services they received from PTPN practitioners; felt the treatment was beneficial; and would recommend PTPN to friends and family.
- PTPN providers in New England delivered 62% more functional improvement for each dollar spent than the national average, while delivering 97.9% “very satisfied” ratings from patients (per a national independent outcomes measurement company).
